Low-res version of an ad that will be running on red line train stops July-August in Chicago. Done for Stage 773 for their weekly musical comedy show.
They wanted it to have a very playful tone, just like their show, that incorporates Cupid, a sort of mascot and logo for them.

First image is the front and the back is all the information. Dimensions are 11x17 It can also be folded accordion style to to imitate a transit map. More pictures of that coming later.
Everything was laid out and created in Illustrator but the photo’s were Photoshopped together from individual TIFF files. The JPEG’s are pretty big but if you’d like to get a hi-res version just ask!
I love making mixtapes. While i don’t make them like the 80’s and 90’s makers there is still something satisfying about putting together 20 or so songs that capture how a person makes you feel. The image on the left is a projector/phonograph mash-up.

Program for Stage 773’s weekly show Cupid Has A Heart On. Pretty simple premise, they wanted a Valentine feel and i always see paper cutouts of hearts or cupids everywhere so i thought I’d make the program look like another cutout. The top right panel is the front. The bottom two panels would be folded in. All done on illustrator.
I like the white background more. Got this idea from the ending of the book. Also everybody should read Contact.
